What causes and organizations do you support and are involved in? Heal the Bay, Abbot Kinney District Association, Center for the Study of Political Graphics, Ocean Charter Schools, Surfrider Foundation, ACLU, NRML, and almost anything that involves Venice and it's community

Where do you find the time to do all this and maintain a successful business?  How do you stay motivated?I don't have time but everything I do is from the heart. Sunshine and
my ravenous desire to enjoy life a beat at a time keeps me motivated. (My lover helps A LOT, too!)

Who inspires you? My family, Carol Wells, Brooke Astor , and all the people that collect cans and bottles in and around the neighborhood to survive.

Describe Venice in less than 5 words : Neighborhood of Light! (Most of the time)

Since you've been in Venice for 10 years, can you finish off this statement - "I remember when.. I could go to Pioneer Bakery early in the morning and buy hot croissants and up the street at Gourmet Warehouse for good coffee. I could just go to Restaurant 5 Dudley and grab real good food! I could walk down on the Boardwalk and shop for real eclectic art or clothes instead of Made in China "eclectic" junk. I could go to Frankie and Raiders and eat a Veggie Burger and fries.

Describe a perfect day in Venice : A perfect day Venice would be a police-free summer weekday bike ride to work or Temescal Canyon with friends while the dolphins in view playing in the water and the birds diving in for fish. Smell of insense (nag champa), sage, and salt while Ibrahim is banging on the drums with his band of the day. A bike ride to Chaya for sushi and sake then catch the sun set!

What's your favorite drink? Chocolate Cake shot, Cold Sake, and whatever wine my girlfriend, Jenny orders !!!

Anything else you would like to share with the world and neighbors? Keep Venice clean! If you come visit take your trash with you. Respect Nature and local Graffiti. Support Local Businesses as suppose to large corporate businesses that's trying to erase the soul of our community. DO NOT BLOCK DRIVEWAY ... you will be towed!!! When a sea lion beaches itself or other sea creature even a Mermaid ... LEAVE IT ALONE! If it's brave enough to do that it means it's sick, it doesn't want it's photo taken. Do not use our beaches as your personal ashtray ... it poisons our water and sand. Lastly, Love Venice? Respect the Homeless!
