French Market Café is an intimate charming café serving Venice neighborhood since 1993. Runs by a French couple with a French team, the café welcomes you with authentic old style personalized service. Pull a chair on our quiet, lushly landscaped outside patio, usually packed with laid-back locals – many of them are European ex-pats – and enjoy a delicious omelet or our famous “le Cheval” (breakfast sandwich) with a tasty espresso, or a rustic homemade soup, a succulent salad with a Panini, or finish your day with a traditional Beef Bourguignon or a Chicken Basquaise with a glass of wine. French Chefs and lingers eat bistro food at the tables and can easily be convinced that they’ve traded their L.A lives for the charms of the French countryside.

At French Market Café, we are proud to perpetuate the French food tradition and style. We are a gourmet food and wines store and a kitchen/café. The Market offers a large selection of imports from homeland including publications and a wine cellar with more than 100 different wines.

From traditional stinky cheese ( Camembert, Munster, Livarot, Roquefort) to Nicoise Olives, Cornichons, Dijon Mustard, Olive Oil, Escargots, from Saucissson and Pates to Foie Gras and Sausages, through Honey , Nutella, Chocolate, Calissons, Nougats and many more, we got them all even newspapers and magazines. Our frozen section makes your dinner schedule easier with a full range of French specialties ready to eat.
