Nestled at the heart of Venice Beach, California, The Ave gives everyone the opportunity to custom design a pair of the legendary footwear that defined a generations culture, the best selling shoe in America, Converse Chuck Taylors.

We have made this possible by inventing a process utilizing cutting edge technology mixed with our own creative engineering and software development to bring to you what no one has before.

The Ave opened on April 7th, 2010 by Los Angeles native Nick Romero, who brought on some of the sharpest, brightest, and best looking people he could find. Together, they’ve created what Yo! Venice has called ‘Their Favorite New Store’ and reviewed on the front page of Thrillist.com.

The Ave, which is located steps away from the sand right in the heart of Venice Beach, has over 100 styles available to choose from in a tattoo-parlor-esque book and can have your sweet pair of kicks hot off the press in 20 minutes. Although you will find some hot designs on the website, you’ll definitely want to pop by the store to see what’s fresh off the press.

What differs from The Ave and a regular ‘shoe store’, is that you have the ability to get whatever you want, any image, picture, on a pair of Chucks. The possibilities are completely endless, and each Custom pair we make is one of a kind and will never be reproduced, that is of course unless you come back for another pair. There are always Creative Designers on duty who are experts at using Photoshop and are ready to assist you with your images, designs, pictures, ANYTHING! Since we also have the ability to create a T-shirt within minutes, you will also find a plethora of edgy & unique designs that can be printed on one of our shirts (we use American Apparel, the highest quality shirt available anywhere), or, you can bring in your own. We can also print on a variety of garment types, including hoodies, long sleeves, tank tops. We are also fully set up to act as your fulfillment house, which we do currently for Venice Originals, Hotel Erwin, Fripon, Fabricated LA, Pico Barbershops, The Green Goddess, and many more for bulk orders (anything over 1 dozen) Since the bulk of our business is custom 1-off Tees and Kicks, we are able to offer some of the most competitive bulk pricing in the industry.
