The 3rd Annual Venice Beach Surf & Skate Festival went off with an abundance of local attendance on June 17th. So many of our beach friends came out to listen to live music, enjoy the vendors, and eat and drink on a warm spring Saturday. Thank you to Sailor Jerry & Pabst Blue Ribbon for sponsoring the event. Special thanks to our foodie friends Poke Poke and Venice Beach Brewing Company for sharing your delicacies. Production support came from Athrone, Pacific Traffic Control & Fox Broadcasting. Special thanks to our media outlets Venice Paparazzi and the Free Venice Beachhead. Our hearts go out to our dear friend Bret of YoVenice! who this year’s event was dedicated to. Thank you to our musical acts Street Smart, Michael Jost & Mother Fuzzer, Fly N Lion, Closeout, Chum & Tunnel Vision. Amazing sounds were provided again by Jim Fleck of Sync It Up Audio.

For the third year we were able to pull off a fun, free local event for our neighbors and community. But, on a somber note, this will be the last installment of the VBSSF. There was not enough local business support to help pay for all the expenses!
