Main Street Santa Monica is an eclectic collection of restaurants, boutiques, cafe’s, salons, gift and home decor stores. Stretching for about a mile from Pico south to the Santa Monica border, Main Street is a charming neighborhood district – not the Mall!

PARKING: There are two large public parking lots, a few small public parking lots, over 350 metered parking spaces on the street, and several private lots on or next to Main Street. There is a small public lot off Strand, between Main and Neilsen Way and another off Norman Place, near the Library. Meters are a dollar an hour. Find parking with ParkMe! EVENTS:

  • Every Tuesday is Santa Monica Food truck event at the California Heritage Museum. 5:30-9:30 p.m.
  • Every Sunday there is a Farmers’ Market . All Markets open rain-or-shine year ’round! 2640 Main St. 9:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
  • June 22. Summer Soulstice. Live bands and street festival
  • Annual Holiday Festival. (First weekend in Dec.) This weekend event includes a tree lighting, meet Santa, candlelit walk to Edgemar, a window holiday decoration Contest, and Sidewalk Sale.
