The time has come to honor a new group of the highest achieving high school students in Venice.

For 37 years, the Jacket of Excellence Awards has been the summit of the season of action for the community. This year our humbling tradition continues, even in the face of the global pandemic. Venice High School seniors are still reaching for the stars despite crippling circumstances. These are exceptional students who have earned at least a 3.75 GPA and excellent citizenship, in addition to sharing their energy and intelligence in the service of our diverse community.

Join me in sponsoring a Jacket for one these remarkable students. They really deserve it.

Due to the pandemic, of course VHS has canceled all in-person activities, however the virtual event on Friday, December 11 is sure to be a meaningful once in a lifetime experience. Time and login information will come.
