Here is a message from the Venice Oceanarium:

Celebrate Earth Day on the Beach!

What better way to celebrate Earth Day than by joining fellow ocean lovers on the sands of Venice Beach? Our annual Grunion Party and lab by the sea is one of our favorite events, and we’re SO excited to gather once again with fellow curious, late-night beach goers!

Another way to celebrate Earth Day is by donating to organizations like ours that raise awareness of the beautiful life on this planet. Any amount is appreciated and small cash donations can be made on site as well.

While donations are encouraged, this event is free and open to all, including kids accompanied by an adult. So bring warm clothes, a flashlight, and your sense of adventure. You’ll see a glowing mass by the Venice Breakwater rocks (that’s us!)
