It is with a heavy heart that we create this post.  Daundy from the Cow’s End has passed away.  R.I.P. Daundy!  We will miss you and your kind smile!

3/27/77 – 06/21/21

Here is a message from his sister and co-owner of the Cow’s End Thea Hartley.

It breaks my heart to share that my beloved little brother (Uncle) Daundy has joined my Mama and Papa in heaven. Daundy was our everything.   Losing him and my Mama both in less than a year is the hardest, most painful reality our family has been faced with💔 Daundy was the best, most reliable partner at work for over 20 years. But, above all, he was the most loving and generous son, brother, uncle and friend. His smile was so infectious, you couldn’t help but smile with him.
.
Daundy just made everything better. I miss my Daundy so much, having him next to me in every part of our lives. I thought we would grow old together, and it pains me to know he left us too soon. Yet, in his 44 years, he brought joy to so many. Everyone who met him could feel his sweet heart, pure soul, and genuine kindness.
Thank you to all for loving our Daundy. Knowing he had a community of love surrounding him, near and far, is the greatest gift our family could have right now.

Please join us as we lay our beloved brother Daundy to rest.
On July 13th and 14th, we will gather for the rosary, wake, funeral mass, and burial as we say our goodbyes to sweet Daundy. If you are able to join us for any or all of the ceremonies, please let us know. We know many knew Daundy throughout the years, so please feel free to share this invitation to those who may want to attend that are both connected through Facebook and otherwise.
Below are the details of the location and time of each ceremony. Following the funeral service and burial on July 14th, we hope to see you to celebrate Daundy’s life at a luncheon located nearby. Due to the restaurant’s policy, we would greatly appreciate RSVPs by July 8th in order to have an accurate head count.
Last but not least, thank you for all the beautiful messages and kind words we’ve received through this difficult time. We will cherish your memories of our (Uncle) Daundy forever. We are beyond grateful for the love you have shown for him and our family at large.
With love,
Thea, Clabe, Seaf, Cleo and Sheila
