Jeremy and Shannon’s West Coast Wedding Bash at The Penmar

It was a beautiful summer evening, July 1, 2021, at the Penmar Golf Course, and its eponymously named restaurant and bar.

And the Venetians came out in force to celebrate the marriage of one Jeremy Parker and Shannon McKernan. From a raised stage facing the golf course, live acoustic music from a plethora of local talent filled the air. Mike Sully Sullivan and Todd “Ace” von Hoffmann acted as emcees, delivering stories, jokes, roasts, and anecdotes per the Parkers. Eventually, the groom himself took the stage and delivered the goods, an original song written for his new wife Shannon, leaving nary a dry eye in the house. The food was fantastic, the drinks were flowing, and vibe was on point. Folks were stoked to be out, and it showed. And, Venice Paparazzi was on the scene with our photo booth to make sure the entire night makes it into the history book of Venice. Congrats to Jeremy and Shannon!

Well….WE DID IT!!!!

After years of living only blocks apart, having so many of the same friends yet never having met, meeting each other that fateful night on the Meet Me At The Pub party bus was the beginning of our best chapter in life yet!

When we decided to have our wedding during Covid and could only have a guest list of 18 people, our hearts were broken at all of the amazing family and friends that we couldn’t include. We waited 10 looooong months, but we were finally able to plan our LA reception and it couldn’t have been more perfect! Beautiful friends, beautiful food, beautiful music and in one of our favorite spots in Venice no less! We are so thankful for everyone that came out and shared such a special day with us, but let’s be honest……it’s not a proper Venice event without Venice Paparazzi!!!!!

Thank you Venice for giving us yet ANOTHER epic memory and thank you Alex and Edizen for making it one that we will be able to look back on the amazing pictures forever! Cheers!
