Nueva Offers Mimosas and Holiday Specials for Easter Brunch and Dinner

NUEVA presents Easter in Venice on Sunday, April 17, 2022. Guests can celebrate with brunch from 10:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. and dinner from 3:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

With its homage to south-of-the-border cuisine, NUEVA is the creation of restaurateurs Jared Meisler, and Dave & Patti Reiss (Reiss Co). This laid-back contemporary mid-century styled cantina imbues the funkiness of Venice and makes an ideal choice for families on Easter. The brunch and dinner menus bring an exceptional variety of market-fresh dishes and cocktails to guests of any age. Boasting two outdoor patios and spacious indoor seating, NUEVA is the perfect restaurant for this popular holiday.

Start the table with Mimosas – Fresh O.J. and a Bottle of Bubbly for $20. New Brunch offerings include Cloud Pancakes with Chantilly Cream, Yucatan Syrup and Caramelized Bananas; and Churro French Toast with Challah Bread Topped with Powdered Sugar and Mexican Chocolate Sauce, served with Pure Maple Syrup (decadent à la mode option available!), as well as an Easter all-day special of Herb-Marinated Grilled Lamb with Tomatillo-Cauliflower Purée, Chorizo-Spiced Baby Squash & Red Mole Butter Sauce. Indulge in can’t miss brunch favorites –  Breakfast Burrito with Scrambled Eggs, Chorizo, Black Beans, Red Rice, Avocado, Queso Oaxaca, Ranchero Sauce and Salsa Nueva; Vegan Breakfast Burrito with Sauteed Tofu, Black Beans, Red Rice, Avocado, Ranchero Sauce and Salsa Nueva; Huevos Rancheros Shakshuka with Baked Eggs, Shakshuka Ranchero Sauce, Black Beans, Feta Cheese and Corn Tortilla; and Chilaquiles with Tortilla Chips Tossed with Ranchero Sauce, Feta Cheese, Yellow Onions, and Topped with Two Poached Eggs.

Everyone loves Chef Manuel Portillo’s signature ceviche, taco and salads for brunch and dinner –  Classic and Vegan Ceviches (among others); Smokey Caesar; Street Cart Salad; Carrot Taco with Roasted Baby Carrots, Jalepeño Cilantro Garlic Salsa and Pickled Onions; Kabocha Squash Taco with Roasted Kabocha, Hazelnut Dukkah, Mojo Verde and Pomegranate Seeds; Chicken Tinga Taco with Fresno Chili, Pickled Apple and Pico De Gallo; Carne Asada Taco with Roasted Scallion and Garlic Cilantro Jalapeno Salsa; and the Pork Belly Chicharron Taco with Chili Lime Salt, Cilantro Emulsion, Serrano Pepper and Pineapple Salsa. Guests can share Botanas – House Made Chips and Salsa Nueva; Chips and Guacamole; Elote – Grilled Sweet Corn, Chipotle Butter, Parmesan Cheese and Chili Lime Crunch; and Crispy Cauliflower with Lime, Jalapeno, Parmesan Cheese and Cilantro Yogurt.

Kids will be thrilled with a menu just for them – Cheese Quesadillas; Scrambled Eggs & Spanish Rice; and Breakfast Burritos for brunch and Kids Falafel or Tempura Sea Bass Tacos; and Bean & Cheese Burritos for dinner. They’ll love the Chips and Guacamole too.

For both brunch and dinner, toast friends and family with a classic NUEVA Cóctele created from the vast agave collection of tequila and mezcal curated by the incomparable Raul Yrastorza. Cócteles include Paloma Max; Setenta y Cinco; Tepache Mule; Reina Picante; Sotol; Mezcal Negroni; Raicilla; Bacanora Spritz; Tequila Sunrise; Naked & Famous; Oaxaca Old Fashioned; and the de rigueur Frozen Margaritas. Cócteles are served alongside a rotating selection of Vinos (sparkling, rosé, white and red wines all from Mexico) and Otros (non-alcoholic libations).

Finish with an irresistible NUEVA Postre – Churro with Cinnamon Sugar & McConnell’s Dark Chocolate Ice Cream; Flan with Orange & Burnt Caramel; and Chocolate Tres Leches with Dulce de Leche, Chantilly Cream, Vanilla, Espresso & Cinnamon.
