Venice Paparazzi was on the scene at the A Walk on Water‘s Wave of Love fundraising event on May 10th, 2018. View coverage below.
WAVES OF LOVE built on the success of last year’s west coast fundraiser “Wine for Waves” and took place on Thursday, May 10 from 6-10pm at the historic Annenberg Beach House. The evening was set around the original estate’s 1920’s pool built for actress Marion Davies by William Randolph Hearst. Guests watched the sun set over Santa Monica State Beach while enjoying cocktails and hors-d’oeuvres by Bruce’s Gourmet Catering and music by DJ Glen Walsh.
The event featured a live and silent auction. This year the Silent Auction was hosted online and had open for viewing and bidding prior to and at the event via computer, tablet and/or mobile device.

ABOUT A WALK ON WATER: A WALK ON WATER provides Surf Therapy to individuals with special needs.
A WALK ON WATER provides water therapy through guided surf instruction to specials needs children. Surfing is used as a tool to gain self confidence skills and promote the therapeutic benefits of the sport’s positive effects and our oceans healing powers. Children experience the true “stoke” of surfing and a sense of accomplishment as family and friends cheer them on from the beach. Brothers and sisters also participate, helping to solidify an often-strained bond between siblings.
