YAS Fitness athletes do great! $83,000 and counting raised for Cancer Support Community LA at this year’s YAS-A-Thon, three-hour cycle-thon!

YAS Fitness Centers and Cancer Support Community Los Angeles (CSCLA) teamed up for their annual YAS-A-THON on Sunday, June 25, 2017 at three YAS Fitness Centers: 245 Main Street, Venice; 1932 Hyperion Ave., Silverlake; and 831 S. Hope Street, Los Angeles. The three-hour cycle-thon benefited the FREE programs and services provided by CSCLA for people impacted by cancer. Event raised more than $83,000 to fund the programs at CSCLA.

First place top fundraiser was awarded an Aero Spin Bike donated by Spinning HQ; second place top fundraiser was presented a $420 Tomoko Spa gift card, courtesy of Tomoko Spa Beverly Hills; and the top fundraising team won a pair of Revolution headphones and two pairs of BTS headphones, courtesy of 66 Audio. Additional riders won opportunity prizes courtesy of YAS Fitness Centers, FabFitFun, ZICO Coconut Water, Rag & Bone, Nurse At Your Door and Arbonne.

All riders received swag bags filled with goodies provided by Lenny & Larry’s, Bare Snacks, KIND bars, FabFitFun, SweatyBetty, Arbonne, ZICO Coconut Water, Sagely Naturals and Buiced Liquid Vitamins. Healthy beverages were donated by ZICO Coconut Water, Smartwater, WANU water and Renew Juicery to keep cyclers hydrated and energized.

Since the opening of YAS Fitness Center, Kimberly Fowler, founder, had a vision – an event that would tie two of her passions together, fitness and philanthropy. YAS Fitness Centers pioneered the unique combination of yoga and spinning® and has raised more than $2 million for a variety of organizations focusing on cancer research and programs benefiting those impacted by cancer.
