Fire Station 63 Pancake Breakfast

It was a gorgeous Saturday morning, and the community came out en masse to the annual Fire Station 63 Pancake Breakfast!

A fantastic event, put on every year by the Playa Venice Sunrise Rotary Club.

The firemen of Station 63 ran the griddle, serving up pancakes, eggs, sausages, coffee and OJ to  over 1,000 attendees.

Kids got to go explore the fire trucks, romp in the bounce house, try on the firemen’s equipment, get their faces painted, play with balloon sculptures, and more!

And Venice Paparazzi was on the scene to cover the entire thing!  Not only did we have our awesome photographers documenting the event, we did a fire themed, green screen photo booth with instant prints, text, and email for all!  Participants had their choice of  backgrounds, and a whole slew of fun props to choose from, including the actual gear of the fire fighters of Station 63.  It was a super fun activation we want to thank Playa Venice Sunrise Rotary Club,  Fire Station 63Great White,  Huzzah Toys, and Laurie Woolner + Jesse Weinberg for sponsoring the event photography and photo booth.

As well, a big high five to Gwen and Jim Vuchas, who were awarded the Fire Station Hero award!
