For Juan Carlos Muñoz Hernandez, the element of line in his paintings represents a number of key cosmological and psychological concepts. In Sound of Color, his first post-pandemic exhibition, he showcases works that blend colors and infinitely combine geometry by way of canvas, plexiglass, stainless steel, acrylic, ink and more. In his work there is a captivating play between flat and dimensional – a relationship between the figure and ground where both are abstract.

The show is being held at MagicLinks, a 2-story loft studio space with 35-ft high ceilings in the heart of Venice Beach that was transformed from a mid-20th century Coca-Cola factory.
