The Boys & Girls Clubs of Venice (BGCV) recently partnered with Yellow Fever, an Asian, fast casual restaurant in Venice, to provide a free Food and Culture Cooking Class to high school Club members. Scientific Wrestling was founded in 2003 by Jake Shannon while living near 24th Avenue and Speedway. Since then, they've lead the global resurgence in interest in the sport of catch wrestling. Jake started coaching catch wrestling at Redwood's Boxing Gym, near Winward Circle, eventually setting up his catch wrestling club at SAMOHI, thanks to Coach Mark Black..
