Event Description: On Halloween weekend 2010, the Westside Metal Alliance unleashed “Boardwalk Brutality” on the masses of the Venice, Ca.  The Westside Metal Alliance brought 23 of Los Angeles’ finest metal bands and 3 bands from the general rock genre, to the Muscle Beach Stage on the Venice boardwalk for a free, two day, all ages metal show.  The daytime, festival style concert took place on Oct. 30 and 31 2010, timing it perfectly with the traditional late October celebration of the dead.

Including the talent, there were over 120 people involved in the production of the show.  Every single person was absolutely necessary and every single person did an awesome job!  There were challenges in the build up to the show, as well as during the concert itself, and the Westside Metal Alliance team rose to the occasion every time! So we would like to give some recognition and put names to the efforts  it took to execute this historical event.

On the sponsor side: These are the people who contributed financially to the production of the show: Linda Lucks and the VENICE NEIGHBORHOOD COUNCIL, COUNCILMAN BILL ROSENDAHL’S office, Joe Shemula at  AL & ED’S AUTOSOUND,  Eric Romer at HEADBLADE and Andrew Quillin at SCION.
