Save the date May 20th for the 39th Venice Family Clinic’s Art Walk & Auctions!

Venice Family Clinic presents its 39th iconic Venice Family Clinic’s Art Walk & Auctions (theveniceartwalk.org) to support its mission to provide quality primary health care to people in need. This year’s event features three world-renowned Venice-based artists: signature artist Alexis Smith, an LA-based collage and installation artist, who has exhibited extensively from the Whitney to MOCA; limited-edition artist Sam Durant, who is renowned for his social artwork and who has a strong personal connection to the Clinic, having once been a beneficiary of its services himself; and Ed Moses, one of the most experimental artists of the last half-century and a longtime Clinic supporter, posthumously.

Taking place on Sunday, May 20, from noon to 6 p.m. at Google L.A. (340 Main Street, Venice, CA), Venice Family Clinic’s Art Walk & Auctions is the largest public event held at the tech giant’s Venice headquarters, which transforms into an art gallery for the occasion. Guests can enjoy free access to the city’s internationally renowned art scene, and all winning bids in the silent auction raise funds to support Venice Family Clinic’s services for low-income men, women and children.

The fundraiser features exhibitions, studio tours and a silent auction along with live art exhibits curated by artist Bert Rodriguez, guided art workshops, live music, a craft beer and wine garden, dog daycare and bike valet service. For a $50 donation, guests enjoy special access to dozens of artists’ studios, a centerpiece of the event since its inception, showcasing Venice’s ever-changing artist community.
