About SPY’s Gala: On Thursday, June 14, 2018 Safe Place for Youth (SPY) will be holding its 3rd Annual Gala at Playa Studios in Culver City. This year’s benefit, “Home”, will celebrate our community leaders and the resilient homeless youth who inspire us daily. Our honorees are SPY Board Member and Entertainment One’s Chief of Strategy Peter Micelli and his wife Jennifer Lang, whose ongoing commitment and generosity have been instrumental to the success of SPY. Additionally, we are proud to be presenting the Community Support Award to The St. Matthew’s Community, who have been volunteering and supporting SPY since the day we began.
The celebration is cocktail-style and will include live music, delicious food, drinks by cocktail chef Matthew Biancaniello, and a silent auction. Expected guests in attendance will be 350-400 of Los Angeles’ most influential leaders and top executives in the technology, advertising and entertainment industries.
All funds raised from our 3rd Annual Gala will go directly towards SPY programs. Supporting this event will allow you to play a central role in ending youth homelessness in Los Angeles, alongside local corporations, philanthropists, business leaders, community residents and key city influencers.
