Here is a message from Venice High School

Dear Career Professional,

Venice High School is proud to announce our annual Career Day that will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2019.This year every student will have the opportunity to talk with a professional in the field of their choice on how they chose their career, selection of a college (s), specialty classes, companies in the field and job descriptions.

Possible career areas of interest include but not limited to:

  • Law and Public Service
  • Sports Medicine
  • Health and Medicine
  • Engineering
  • World Languages
  • Media/ Graphic Design
  • Technology

You have four time slots to choose from:

  1. 8:00 am – 10:00 am

We need about 30 speakers gathered in the West Gym, for about 300 students each hour

B.10:30 am – 12:30 pm

We need about 30 speakers gathered in the West Gym, for about 300 students each hour

C.1:00 pm – 3:00 pm

We need 15 speakers for three panels, in small groups of about 30 students each.

D.5:00 pm – 7:00 pm

In conjunction with our Open House, we need 10 speakers for two workshops in the library and cafeteria.

If you are interested in participating in this event and providing this invaluable information to our students, please contact me by February 22nd by phone or email.
