About Kids Venice Basketball League (KVBL):
Kids Venice Basketball League (KVBL) uses basketball as a catalyst to create a safe environment for youth around the globe. The goal of the KVBL is to provide experiences for children that empower them to cultivate a healthy lifestyle, gain confidence in themselves and each other, and become Leaders IN their communities.
Once a week from winter to fall the KVBL takes place from indoor facilities to the beach. Our focus is to give kids a strong foundation, not only in basketball skills and broadly based health and fitness, but also global awareness and responsibility.
At no cost to the children or their families, KVBL kids are exposed to the following: Yoga instruction from world-renowned Yoga masters; basketball lessons with some of the League’s premier players and other celebrities; fitness facts and training from Vegan nutrition professionals. Gourmet chefs will demonstrate to the kids the simplicity of eating healthy by making together healthy smoothies and lunch. The boys and girls of the camp are also given the opportunity to play in a similarly structured league in the afternoon where kids will shine, earn a nickname and showcase their talent in front of everyone.
