Only Venice Beach and the production and creative teams behind @dior could pull off a runway event on Windward Ave. to the launch Dior’s upcoming 2023 spring men’s collection.

Eli Russell Linnetz, founder of @erl__________ – was invited to guest-design the capsule line that was unveiled on Thursday, May 19, 2022. It was a flamboyant mix of skate wear, tailoring and maximalist references from the ‘90s, touted as “California Couture.” Hotel Erwin was proud to support and be the catalyst in bringing this type of event, and hopefully many more to Venice Beach. We won’t tell them that I wore Target & Kirkland with a pair of Jessica Simpson shoes to the event.
