Above the door at Venice’s favorite  watering hole, and sprucing up Washington square, is a re-creation of the original 1962 Hinano Cafe sign.  Locals and press came out to celebrate, eat breakfast burritos, and bear witness to the raising of the sign on Monday 02/20/23. Long Live Hinano!  Long live the sign!

Here is a message from Hinano Cafe:

The old Venice sign has been refurbished and is back up on our bar!
Thank you Bud Harris for creating such an iconic sign and coming to helping us hang this sign where it belongs

We’ve been serving world-famous burgers and cold beers just steps from the Venice Beach pier since 1962. Notorious for being Jim Morrison’s favorite Venice hangout.

Hinano is that rare local bar for people from all over the world. It’s also a cool place to duck into out of the sun…and then stay till the wee hours. We have a good selection of beer on tap served in frosty mugs and pitchers or in icy bottles.

Three pool tables, free popcorn, a great jukebox and full college and NFL cable sports package (and plenty of screens) make Hinano Cafe a good time just waiting to happen.

Hinano, has live bands Fri.-Sun. starting at 5:00 p.m.  Go to instagram.com  for updates!
