THANK YOU! THANK YOU! 2025 AMCS Spring Celebration Exceeds Goal, Raising Over $350,000!

We would like to take a moment to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who attended and supported our 21st Annual Spring Celebration on May 22 at the Renaissance Los Angeles Airport Hotel.

It was inspiring to see us all come together to honor the important contributions of Sylvia Wilson, our 2025 Community Builder; and Janie Guthrie-Skjervem and Mark Skjervem, our 2025 Champions of Mental Health. Their unwavering support of Airport Marina Counseling Service and our entire community has enabled us to continue our legacy of helping those in our community who need it most.

Throughout the evening, we took time to celebrate the clinic’s on-going efforts to provide affordable, community-based mental health services and to support the training of more than 60 mental health therapists each year. From its opening in 1962 to today, AMCS has continued to grow and expand its programs and services. Today, our non-profit clinic serves hundreds of individuals, children and families and couples every week – all on a sliding-scale basis.

Thanks to your incredible support, the Spring Celebration raised more than $350,000 to help those who may not otherwise seek mental health services get the help they need.
