Venice Afterburn 2025: A Celebration of Art, Creativity, and Community October 4th and 5th, 12pm – 10pm.

Venice Afterburn 2025, an official Regional Burning Man event, returns for another unforgettable weekend of art, music, and radical self-expression on October 4th and 5th from 12pm to 10pm in Venice, California.

This annual event offers a vibrant environment inspired by the culture of Black Rock City blended with the creative and colorful energy of Venice Beach.

Whether you’re a longtime burner or just curious, Venice Afterburn offers a vibrant environment inspired by the culture of Black Rock City blended with the creative and colorful energy of Venice Beach, and is the perfect place to decompress and connect with the local community.

This year’s art lineup includes Nested Heart by Stephen Reynolds, an honorarium installation fresh from Burning Man 2025, and Campfire Nostalgia by Jay Fedoruk, making its first appearance at Venice Afterburn. Mutant vehicles will once again light up the venue, featuring a life-sized lifeguard tower on wheels, and giant TV shooting flames as music stages; an army of colorful, rolling chariots, an elephant, a stagecoach style wagon with 6 foot diameter wheels and many more! There will be no shortage of interactive experiences for all ages, including a giant Lite-Brite, a VR adventure zone, and a furry swing installation created by Santa Monica-based artist John Geary. Other LA based artists such as Erica Halpern, Jonathan Gudino, Corey Smith and Lindsey Nobel.

Fire spinners will dazzle crowds as the sun sets, adding a dramatic flair to the evening hours.

Music is a key element of Venice Afterburn, with a DJ lineup stacked with artists fresh from the playa. Expect deep beats, eclectic rhythms, and dance floors fueled by community energy and creative expression.

  • Date & Time: October 4th & 5th, 12pm – 10pm • Where: Windward Plaza, Venice Beach (by the skate park)
  • Admission: Free from 12pm – 6pm; $20 after 6pm (last entry at 9pm)
  • Family-Friendly: Kids are welcome before 6pm; after 6pm, we kindly ask that children remain at home

Please note: If you enter before 6pm, you may stay all evening without paying the entrance fee — however, there are no ins-and-outs.

To keep the energy going, join us at the official Venice Afterburn Afterparty at The Rose Room from 10pm to 2am.
