LAX Coastal Chamber’s 4th of July Spirit Week. “Virtual” photo booth by Venice Paparazzi

It was a fun filled Fourth of July for all, as revelers from Westchester, Playa del Rey, Playa Vista, Venice, and even as far as New York and Palm Springs, came together in the Venice Paparazzi’s “VIRTUAL” Photo Booth for celebration of the LAX Coastal Chamber of Commerce’s 4th of July Spirit Week!

It was a super fun day, and despite having to forgo the annual LAX Coastal 4th of July parade, and many of the joys of actually getting together with folks, the sense of unity and Independence Day spirit reigned supreme.  Thanks to everyone who participated.

Here’s how it worked!  Using their cell phone, guests texted photos to our virtual photo booth’s number 310.893.5137, which instantly inserted their photo on our custom “4th of July” background, and sent it back to them  within minutes.  View some of our favorite photo booth pics below!

Here is a message from LAX Coastal Chamber’s President Christina Davis

2020 Spirit Week -Thank You for Showing Your Community Spirit!
On behalf of the staff and leadership team at the LAX Coastal Chamber of Commerce, we would like to thank our sponsors, volunteers and participants of the inaugural 4th of July Decorating Contest and Spirit Week.
We had over 50 locations decorate, 50 volunteers participate and over 250 gifts delivered to help show our community spirit. While we were incredibly sad that we could not have our usual parade this year, keeping our community safe was our primary concern. Through our Spirit Week 2020 activities, we were able to provide 5 days of fun festivities in a safe and socially distant way.
,
From the red, white and blue pylons at LAX, to the Drollinger Family Charitable Foundation patriotic banners down Sepulveda Blvd., from the various volunteer groups to our sponsor teams, the community was ready to help us celebrate the 4th in a new and exciting way. Check out the images below from our virtual photo booth provided by Chamber member, Venice Paparazzi.
.
Once again, thank you all for showing your community spirit and we’ll see you at the parade next year!
