Venice Chamber Lunch and Learn with David Moring at Hotel Erwin

It was a fantastic educational experience at the Venice Chamber of Commerce Lunch and Learn with David Moring. Hotel Erwin hosted a packed room of Venetians for spaghetti, Cesar salad, and a lecture/Q&A on the new 2019 California employment laws. David, an employment law attorney, focused on the difference between an employee and an independent contractor, the many specifics of paying people, and required workplace harassment training, among other things. It was a great time, and a big fist bump to David for sharing his expertise.

He was a lobbyist and then in-house counsel for General Telephone (now Verizon) and Montgomery Ward. David handles litigation, DFEH and Labor Commissioner claims, arbitrations and contract disputes for both employers and employees.
