It is always a fantastic night at the LAX Marriott when Airport Marina Counseling Service holds their gala.  The local business community, LAPD, Rotarians, LAFD, politicians, and more come together for a night of entertainment, socializing, and food and drinks for a great cause.   2020 would have been the 5th year  Venice Paparazzi  rolled out  out the red carpet for Airport Marina Counseling Service’s biggest fundraiser of the year. Then Covid-19 hit.  But, let’s not dwell on that!  The 16th Annual “Spring into Well-Being” celebration event goes virtual and will still happen on May 28th!    The event will  honor our friend and Tony P’s Dockside Grill’s Tony Palermo.  Details below.

Here is a message from Airport Marina Counseling Service:

This year’s 16th Annual “Spring into Well-Being” celebration will be held online via Zoom on Thursday, May 28, 2020 so that we can adhere to the “Safer at Home” order and still support the Airport Marina Counseling Service’s (AMCS) biggest fundraiser of the year.

About AMCS:

Airport Marina Counseling Service, founded in 1962, is a nonprofit, community-based mental health clinic that serves the LAX, South Bay and Westside areas of Los Angeles. The mission of AMCS is two-fold: to provide affordable, community based mental health services, and to train mental health therapists.

For 58 years, AMCS has offered confidential and professional psychotherapy services helping people to express their feelings, solve their problems, and find new ways to cope with life.

About the May 28th Spring into Well-Being Celebration:

A virtual cocktail hour will precede the program at 5 p.m. and the event will begin at 5:30 p.m. The event will include a live and silent auction, entertainment and lots of surprises.

Join us as we honor the 2020 Champion of Mental Health, Sandy Luboviski; and the 2020 Community Builder, Tony Palermo. Even though we are going virtual, this year’s goal is still to raise over $300,000.
