Here is a message from Heal the Bay

We’re staying close to home these days, but we’re all connected…from the Mountains to the Ocean!

This year, Coastal Cleanup Day will become Coastal Cleanup Month as we spend the entire month of September celebrating our watersheds and coastline with decentralized cleanups and weekly programming.  Grab your family or housemates to clean up your street, park, local shoreline, or anywhere else that you call your happy place.

Join Heal the Bay as we come together (at a safe distance) to help protect and clean what we love.

GET INVOLVED!

CLEANUP:  Grab your family or housemates to clean up your neighborhood, street park or shoreline any day in September. Register your cleanup to stay connected with thousands of other Angelenos hosting their own cleanups and to help us track the amount of trash we’ve kept off our streets and beaches. You’ll also receive tips on conducting a safe, environmentally-friendly, and effective cleanup.

EVENTS:  Each week will feature a series of events that will bring us together to explore and learn about the various issues facing the diverse regions that make up Los Angeles.  Stay tuned for Knowledge Drops, Panels, and Live Instagram chats featuring experts and organizations working to make LA better for local communities and wildlife alike.
