After almost 15 months of closure due to virus restrictions, the famous Venice Beach basketball courts are now open for play, as of May 5, 2021! That’s right! Those annoying hoop blockers have been removed, and new nets have been installed. It looks like the new group of roller skaters who have been using the courts for the last several months are going to have to take it elsewhere, as the 5 on 5, 3 on 3, and 1 on 1 resume. Swish! Nothing but net over here at Venice Paparazzi.
Here is a message from Venice Ball!
The Hoops have been freed!!! Thank you all that played a part, called, emailed, shared, applied pressure… our freedom has been restored!
