The folks at Firestone Walker have added a big dose of stoke to this upcoming sunny June weekend.  They have launched  2 new IPA Mixed Packs  featuring two limited release brews – Melon Conspiracy Hazy IPA and Mandarina Effect West Coast IPA.  Both of these stellar beers were trialed and tested by the good people in Venice at The Propagator, before sending the recipe up to Firestone Walker’s main HQ in Paso Robles to brew for wider release.

This year’s theme for the IPA Mixed Packs is music – so we linked up with local LA band Milly recording studio in DTLA to shoot the campaign. We also curated Spotify playlists for each beer to enhance your drinking experience.

MELON CONSPIRACY – HAZY IPA

We amped things up with a pair of our favorite hops to create Melon Conspiracy–a subversively flavorful hazy IPA.

True to its name, Germany’s Melon hop sets the tone with its soft, melon-like flavors. We then blend it with Mosaic, the hottest new-school IPA hop from the Pacific Northwest, which conspires to complement its comrade with punch aromatics.

MANDARINA EFFECT – WEST COAST IPA

The beat goes on with Mandarina Effect, a West Coast IPA that blends Germany’s Mandarina Bavaria hop with Centennial, the legendary Pacific Northwest hop that helped drive the explosion of the IPA style.

Both of these hops work in perfect synchronicity, with Centennial’s floral grapefruit and juicy fruit gum flavors bringing out the best in Mandarina’s zesty orange character.
