Celebrate Veterans Day at the Santa Monica Pier this November 11 when military veterans, active service members, and their families will be honored with a colorful lighting of the Pacific Wheel in red, white, and blue with icons representing 5 branches of the US Armed Forces.

The City of Santa Monica will also host a mid-day ceremony on the pier deck with a performance by the US Army Band and remarks from Representative Ted Lieu and Councilmember Gleam Davis. Staff members from the city, including the Santa Monica Police and Fire Departments, will also be in attendance. The ceremony will salute US Army veterans and swear in about a dozen new military recruits. This 90-minute ceremony is schedule to begin at 11 AM outside Pacific Park’s east gate.

Pacific Park is now in fall hours. The ticket booth closes at 7 PM Monday-Thursday, and 9 PM Friday-Sunday. The amusement park is scheduled to be open Thanksgiving Day, but please make sure to check our operating calendar before planning your visit.
