Way to go Anthony on your 5th year of Feed the Homeless event in VENICE BEACH. This year there were over 200 volunteers helping distribute turkey dinners, and providing blankets and cloths to the homeless.

Thank You so much for allowing us to help others with your PENNY DONATION. It’s awesome that a PENNY can help so many homeless people. We are now Feeding over 400 People a day thanks to God and You.

About Anthony Perez, Founder and Director: “I started this wonderful Journey Oct 22, 2006 when I was blessed by The 47 Promises. I met a guy named David who was homeless in Venice. He found my Cell Phone and returned it so I gave him a job watering my neighbors yard who was to old to do it herself and couldn’t pay someone. It wasn’t much, but to David it was something. We became friends. I brought David Food and watched him share it with others. Well needless to say people kept coming and more food was made and more people ate and here we are with a tent on venice beach and a few sponsors, fresh foods and clothing donations. This is my life today that stemmed from a little act of kindness like the one you have shown me with your PENNY. Giving every ounce of LOVE to people just feels right. Thanks to you this Foundation will grow and you can always count on us to be there for others. Please know that You are appreciated and Loved. Thank You so much for helping us with your spare “Change” in Venice Beach. God Bless You…

A MESSAGE FROM FEED THE BEACH ORGANIZERS AND FRUIT GALLERY OWNERS NINA AND JAMES MERCED: Thank you for participating in our “3rd Annual Feed the Beach” event. This would not have been possible without the help of each person and business that participated. We had over 200 volunteers much more than we had confirmed, and enough food to extend the event an additional hour. We were able to feed 700+, but most importantly we were able to feed and nourish the souls of many. </p><br />
<p>Although we are not able to mention the 200 plus volunteers please know that your contributions no matter how small or big really served its purpose and everyone should feel very proud of themselves for a job well done. Every last tray of food was served, every dish washed, every piece of trash picked up, every table wiped down and every last trash bag taken out. We would like to once again acknowledge the Rotary Club of Venice, who have partnered with us for the past three years and made Feed the Beach a tradition. We know many of you have been asking how to get involved for Christmas please contact the Rotary Club of Venice as they are doing many wonderful things this Christmas for our community. We would like to acknowledge the following businesses and individuals for their support,</p><br />
