Re-live 10 years of Muscle Beach Championships

For decades competitors have traveled from all over the world to compete at the historic Muscle Beach Competitions. Unfortunately, due to Covid19, the entire 2020 Season is cancelled.

The events were to include: Body building, Figure, Bikini, Men & Women’s Physique, Classic Physique, Couples (mixed pairs) Vintage Swimsuit, & a Wheelchair division. A health fitness expo, free give aways, Muscle Beach Hall of Fame awards, fitness celebrities, and more, are also among the attractions at these events.

We will miss the energy that this event brings to Venice!

Labor Day Weekend “C.T. Fletcher ISCA World Strict Curl” & “Muscle Beach Championship” will not be happening this Labor Day weekend..

Due to “social distancing” restrictions, City of L.A./Rec. & Parks would not issue permits this year. The decision to cancel the 2020 season was taken out of my hands.

In anticipation of “crowd gathering” size restrictions being lifted, we’ve been diligently working on next year’s Memorial Day Weekend, “C.T. Fletcher’s ISCA Muscle Beach Strict Curl”, Saturday May 29th, & the “Muscle Beach Int’l Classic,” Monday May 31, 2021.

Regarding the weight pen, new equipment has been purchased. Once gym “guidelines” have been established, we anticipate installation and access sometime next year.

LAST, but certainly not least, PLEASE continue to practice safe distancing & WEAR YOUR MASK. God willing, we’ll get through the fall/winter seasons and back to some semblance of normality soon.
