Kids Venice Basketball League & summer camp. Every Sun. in the summer starting June 7th. 9a.m – 12 p.m.
About: Our focus is to give kids a strong foundation, not only in basketball skills and broadly based health and fitness, but also global awareness and responsibility. KVBL kids are exposed to the following: Yoga instruction from world-renowned Yoga masters; basketball lessons with some of the League’s premier players and other celebrities; fitness facts and training from Vegan nutrition professionals. Gourmet chefs will demonstrate to the kids the simplicity of eating healthy by making together healthy smoothies and lunch. The boys and girls of the camp are also given the opportunity to play in a similarly structured league in the afternoon where kids will shine, earn a nickname and showcase their talent in front of everyone.
8:30 am:Warm ups/ shoot around
9 am: Smoothie class and healthy breakfast
9:15 am: Yoga
9:30 am: Basketball training by VBL star players and celebrity coaches
10:30 am: Surfing & beach activities
11:30pm-12pm:Lunch
12-4pm: Games on Court #2

Who We Are: The Venice Basketball league is celebrating it’s 9th year in the making. We strive to” showcase, entertain and inspire”. Founded in 2006 by some of Los Angeles’ hoop trendsetters, the Venice Basketball League was born as a community tournament and is now one of the most recognizable summer league in the world. Starting from the legendary courts of Venice Beach, we unite everyone around the game that we love.
What We Do: The Venice Basketball League consists of 10 selective teams. VBL hoops combined with the sounds of the best DJ’s bring a combination of entertainment-style play and most physical action with No free throws. We follow a structured team agenda and evolved from its humble beginnings in 2007 into a “reputable roster compiled with the highest of standards in ethics and talent.”
