While Neighborhood Council board members are volunteers, they are public officials elected by the members of their community.  Los Angeles Neighborhood Council Elections happen every two years.

The 2021 VNC Elections are Tuesday, June 8th!

There are 21 available VNC Board Positions up for grabs.  They help shape decisions on land use, housing, public safety, transportation, the environment, arts, and everything else that affects Venice.  This is a chance for Venetians to have a voice in Venice!

Board terms are two years, during which time they will represent the Stakeholders of Venice and advise the City Council, Mayor’s Office, and all other City agencies on matters affecting our community.
