The Sidewalk Cafe to host Gavin’s Fight Cancer benefit and fundraiser

Join the Sidewalk Cafe on Feb. 24 for a fun night of community fun, local bands, comedy, cash bar, complimentary snacks, and more! Raffle tickets will also be sold all night. All proceeds from this event will go help one of our friends and The Sidewalk Cafe employee Gavin Adams in his on going fight against cancer. The winners will be drawn the next day and posted via live Facebook feed.

Some of the items to be raffled include: Maui and Sons skateboards, skate decks, surf lessons, local gift certificates, beach cruiser, Red Bull snowboard, restaurant gift cards, Corona beach coolers, a night at Venice Breeze Suites, A night at Hotel Erwin, 2 Half day fishing trips on the New Del Mar, 2 whale watching trips, A Mia La Maven spa package, and much more.

Here is a message from the Sidewalk Cafe’s Dakota Rayfield. “This is my amazing friend and coworker Gavin Daniel Adams. He has been battling cancer for the last 5 months. The Sidewalk Cafe is holding a private benefit this Friday February 24th to help raise money for the humongous expenses he’s had to endure and acquire. This is a RAFFLE you can purchase tickets (up till closing Friday night)for amazing prizes valuing above and below $300. Up to $600. You can come during business hours as well. Saturday is the drawing and will be posted on Facebook and winners contacted. We will have live bands and a DJ for the event, and delicious appetizers! There is $10 door charge to get in the benefit, and it will be a cash bar. All door fees and raffles purchases will go straight to Gavin!
