Here is a message from California Department of Public Health

When should you wear a mask?

You should wear a mask whenever you’ll be around someone you don’t live with, including:

  • In any indoor public space
  • When waiting in line
  • When getting health care
  • On public transportation or when ride-sharing
  • At work
  • Outdoors

Can I take my mask off in public?

There are times when it’s okay to take your mask off, such as:

  • When eating or drinking
  • If a hearing-impaired person needs to read your lips
  • If wearing a mask imposes a risk to you at work
  • When you are getting a service to the nose or face
  • When exercising in public and can stay six feet from others.

Shop local with BringIt!

Here is there message!  Friends since art school, we are two local designers and working moms who started BringIt!

Masks out of a desire to provide safe, beautiful and sustainable face masks for our families. With too much pandemic-related time and creative energy on our hands we started sewing cotton masks out of our Venice kitchen. Then our friends asked for them. And their friends. And, well, we just couldn’t keep up with the need. So we got organized and got to work.

We sourced quality, colorful organic cotton fabrics in the USA and found help making them locally, right here in Venice. We committed to using 10% of our profits to provide masks to people in the community in need. We believe that for better or worse, masks are going to be with us for a while and we want to make sure we are providing an option people can feel good about.

Now that Angelenos are required to wear masks when away from their homes, even more people are looking for sources for them. Our masks are available on our website and on Sundays we will be at 3807 Grand View at (@ the entrance of the Mar Vista Farmers Market) from 9-2.
