The Venice West’s Sneak Preview Party

It was a spectacular evening, full of smiling faces, live music, and a sense of joy.  It was three years in the making, and a big win for the neighborhood.  It was the sneak preview party for The Venice West.
.
The summer like Sunday, October 3rd evening saw a local Venice crowd stoked to be out catching a show together with a room full of friends.  The Smash-Up Squad played a ripping set, drinks flowed, food was served, and the dance floor oozed with happiness.
.
The newly remodeled space is epic.  A spacious raised stage, pro sound and lights, marble bar, and decor nodding to the Beatnik era of Venice all make for a brand new A game live music venue for Venice.
.
The owners are a team of local guys, who have lived in Venice for decades, with passion for and experience in putting on live shows, including running Saint Rocke in Hermosa Beach, as well as producing the Beach Life Festival in Redondo.
.
They are aiming in having a variety of genres of music, from dinner and jazz show to a punk rock, reggae, and jam bands concerts.
.
Their staff is comprised of local folks, and the club will also be working with local non profits such as Venice Arts, and the Boys and Girls Club of Venice.
..
A big fist bump to Rob Lissner, Allen Sanford, and the team at The Venice West for bringing this vision to life.
